Alicja Kochanowicz

I am an audiovisual artist and a doctoral researcher at Academia Artium Humaniorum. In my research, I combine post-artistic practices with climate resilience-building, with a particular focus on wetland ecosystems and local ecologies.
In my work, I use multimedia, intermedia, and ephemeral forms, which I present through exhibitions, workshops, and dialogue-oriented meetings and events. I am a co-founder of the KWKO duo and the Wilgoć collective, and I also work with the Office for Postartistic Services.
I graduated in Photography from the University of the Arts in Poznań and in Intermedia and Multimedia from the Faculty of Fine Arts at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń.

Jestem artystką audiowizualną i doktorantką Academia Artium Humaniorum. W swojej pracy badawczej łączę praktyki postartystyczne z budowaniem odporności klimatycznej, koncentrując się szczególnie na ekosystemach mokradeł i lokalnych ekologiach.
W swoich działaniach wykorzystuję multimedia, intermedia i formy efemeryczne, które prezentuję podczas wystaw, warsztatów oraz spotkań i wydarzeń nastawionych na dialog. Współtworzę duet KWKO i kolektyw Wilgoć, a także działam przy Biurze Usług Postartystycznych.
Ukończyłam Fotografię na Uniwersytecie Artystycznym w Poznaniu oraz Intermedia i Multimedia na Wydziale Sztuk Pięknych Uniwersytetu Mikołaja Kopernika w Toruniu.
