Alicja Kochanowicz

Alicja Kochanowicz is an audiovisual artist based in Poland. She holds a BA in Photography from the University of the Arts in Poznań and an MA in Intermedia and Multimedia from the Faculty of Fine Arts at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń.
Currently, she is a doctoral researcher at Academia Artium Humaniorum, where she investigates the intersection of post-artistic practices and climate resilience, focusing particularly on wetland ecosystems and local ecologies. Her projects span multimedia, intermedia, and ephemeral forms, and have been presented in exhibitions, workshops, and discursive formats. She is a co-founder of the duo KWKO and the collective Wilgoć, and collaborates with The Office For Postartistic Services.

Artystka audiowizualna. Obecnie, jako doktorantka Academia Artium Humaniorum, prowadzi badania na rodzimej uczelni, łącząc praktyki postartystyczne z budowaniem odporności klimatycznej, w szczególności koncentrując się na ekosystemach mokradeł i lokalnych ekologiach. W swoich działaniach wykorzystuje multimedia, intermedia i formy efemeryczne, które prezentowane były podczas wystaw, warsztatów oraz spotkań i wydarzeń nastawionych na dialog. Jest współzałożycielką duetu KWKO, kolektywu Wilgoć, oraz działa przy Biurze Usług Postartystycznych.
Absolwentka Fotografii na UAP w Poznaniu oraz Intermediów i Multimediów na Wydziale Sztuk Pięknych UMK w Toruniu.
